Sedelon Valves with Stem Protector
The valve with stem protector is particularly used for some special requirements. The stem protector mainly solves the problem that the outdoors valve stem is easy to rust.
In the installation and use of the valve, stem protectors are generally added to the outside of the valve stem, which is used to ensure the normal switching of the valve, and prevent dust and the erosion caused by the weather.If the exposed stem has no protector, the stem will be easily get rusty and then may not be lifted and lowered easily .
The stem protector is generally used for gate valves, and sometimes can be also applied to globe valves if required. General globe valves can not equipped with the stem protector, so the globe valves should be suitably adjusted to match with the protector. Changing the structure of the globe valve bonnet then the stem protector can be used for the globe valve.
